CareLink Inc. is seeking a skilled Optometrist to provide comprehensive optometric care services to patients in long-term care settings throughout Rhode Island.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and implement optometry services in collaboration with the Chief Program Director
- Provide preventative and health maintenance services to patients
- Utilize electronic medical records for charting and workflow development
- Examine eyes to determine visual acuity and perception, and diagnose diseases and abnormalities
- Prescribe medications and vision aids as necessary
- Consult with and refer patients to ophthalmologists or other healthcare practitioners as needed
- Master's degree in Optometry (preferred)
- State-issued license for optometry in Rhode Island
- Graduate of an accredited school of medicine
- Bilingual in Spanish and English (preferred)
- Ability to diagnose and treat eye-related disorders and conditions
- Ability to adapt to the needs of patients and environment
$60-$75 per hour
