We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Support Professional to join our team at SunOpta. As a key member of our infrastructure support team, you will be responsible for providing top-notch technical support to our end-users, ensuring that they have the necessary tools and resources to perform their jobs efficiently.
Key Responsibilities- Provide remote and on-site technical support for PC-based systems, including hardware and software troubleshooting and repair.
- Train end-users on the use of equipment and software, including Windows 10 and Windows 11, Microsoft Office 365, and other applications.
- Deploy and troubleshoot network and standalone printers, as well as mobile devices such as iPhones and Android phones.
- Administer corporate workstation assets, including tracking computer equipment and performing physical inventory.
- Provide end-user support and obtain technical support as required, creating and maintaining technical documentation.
- 5 or more years of relevant work experience in IT support.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, with both technical and non-technical users.
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills, detail-oriented, and strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Must be available for escalations during an on-call rotation, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Experience with a call tracking system, such as ServiceNow.
- User and computer object administration in Microsoft Active Directory.
- Experience with Microsoft Exchange and Microsoft Entra/Azure.
- Experience with a Mobile Device Management (MDM) solution, such as Intune.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Teams and Microsoft Teams telephony.
- Knowledge of VMWare and Microsoft Hypervisor.
- Experience with Cisco Meraki cameras and networking equipment.
- Experience with TeamViewer for remote computer management.
- Demonstrated ability to learn quickly using Google or technical manuals.
- Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to work with people at all skill levels.
- Excellent knowledge and troubleshooting of Windows 10 and Windows 11 operating systems, network printing, Microsoft Office applications, and experience with Microsoft Active Directory.
- Broad knowledge of PC, networking, and server software and hardware.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues in a timely manner.
