Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Therapist to join our team at Medical City Fort Worth. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals with communication, cognitive, and swallowing impairments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to identify communication and cognitive needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy programs to improve communication and cognitive abilities.
  • Evaluate patient progress regularly and adjust treatment plans as needed.
  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate records.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Requirements
  • Current Texas license in Speech Language Pathology.
  • Certificate from American Speech Language & Hearing Association (ASHA).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • QI Care Tool Credentialing (Inpatient Rehab Staff) within 90 days of start date.
  • 1+ years of experience in acute care or inpatient rehab setting preferred.
  • Master's Degree (M.A. or M.S) in Speech Language Pathology.
