Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer to join our team at the State of California. Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to extract data from various sources, transform it into a standardized format, and load it into a data warehouse or other target systems.
  • Develop and maintain data integration solutions using various technologies such as SQL Server, AWS, Azure, and SaaS ETL/ELT tools.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and develop data solutions to meet those needs.
  • Develop and maintain data quality and integrity processes to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members and other stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in data engineering, data transformation, and data integration.
  • Expertise in SQL Server, AWS, Azure, and SaaS ETL/ELT tools.
  • Strong understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and business intelligence concepts.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
