Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal service tasks, including direct service and support services.
  • Use problem-solving skills to make proper decisions and take initiative in making decisions and taking action.
  • Effectively monitor Security and fire alarm systems, respond to emergencies, and maintain knowledge of Security Department operations.
  • Perform various security tasks, including money transports, escorts, hazard inspection, and patrols of Medical Center buildings and property.
Requirements
  • Driver's License upon hire and Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) Training within 3 months.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) (AHA) or Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED certification (AHA) within 30 days.
  • JPX Certification.
Skills and Knowledge
  • Basic reading, writing, and oral skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with a wide variety of people.
  • Ability to maintain confidential information and project a professional, friendly, helpful demeanor.
  • Basic computer knowledge, including word processing, spreadsheet, email application, and web browser.
