Job Description

Job Title: Adjunct Faculty - Management of Information Systems

Job Summary:

New York Institute of Technology is seeking a qualified Adjunct Faculty member to teach Management of Information Systems (MIST) courses for SOM graduate and undergraduate students at its NYC campus.

Responsibilities:

  • Teach courses on Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, Emerging Internet technologies, and Introduction to Management of Information Systems
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans and assessments to meet the needs of diverse learners
  • Provide individualized support and feedback to students to promote academic success
  • Stay current with industry trends and developments in Management of Information Systems

Qualifications:

  • M.S., MBA, Ph.D., or equivalent degree in Information Systems or related field
  • ABD candidates will also be considered
  • Preferred areas of competence include ERP and Management of Information Systems
  • Graduate teaching experience is preferred, as well as experience with Zoom/online teaching

Working Conditions:

Adjunct Faculty members are expected to be available to teach in-person courses during weekdays and evenings on our New York City campus, in addition to teaching on Zoom or online.
