Meat Cutter Specialist

Mackenthun's Fine Foods is seeking a skilled Meat Cutter to join our team. As a Meat Cutter, you will be responsible for performing critical meat cutting functions, including safe food handling, receiving, stocking, cutting, wrapping, displaying, and rotating all items in the meat department.

• Perform meat cutting functions, including cutting, wrapping, and displaying meat products
• Assist customers with questions about Mackenthun's meats and specialty meat products
• Responsible for stacking cooler, freezer stocking of lunch meat, and rotating general housekeeping duties throughout the department
• Meet or exceed sales and customer service goals
• Work effectively as part of a team and independently

• High School diploma or GED equivalent required
• Previous customer service experience necessary
• Must be able to clearly speak, read, and write the English language
• Must be skilled in basic math
• Must be able to work as part of a team and independently

Must be able to work with and around machine noise, in hot or cold temperatures, on terrazzo floor, in a smoke-free facility. Multi-faceted and fast-paced environment. Exposure to cleaning chemicals.
