Job Summary:

The Diagnostic Imaging Assistant is responsible for providing exceptional patient care and support in a fast-paced diagnostic imaging environment. This role requires a strong ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and maintain a high level of accuracy in a dynamic setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Patient registration and collection of payments
• Rooming and preparing patients for radiologic procedures
• Assisting the provider with care and treatment
• Performing x-rays within scope
• Discharging and following up with patients

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1 year of healthcare experience
• Limited scope testing certification provided by ARRT
• American Heart Association (BLS for Health Care Providers) certification

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a medical office assistant or CNA
• Knowledge of urgent care medical specialty
• Knowledge of medical terminology
• Knowledge of Epic electronic health record system
• Exceptional customer service and phone etiquette skills
