Job Summary:

As a Surgical Technologist at Tekfortune Inc, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our operating rooms. Your expertise in sterile and aseptic techniques will be essential in maintaining a safe and efficient environment for our patients and surgical teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation and maintenance of the sterile surgical field, ensuring that all necessary equipment and supplies are available and functioning properly.
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure that all procedures are conducted in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Monitor the sterile field for any potential contaminants or hazards and take corrective action as needed.
  • Participate in the preparation and maintenance of the operating room environment, including cleaning and disinfecting equipment and surfaces.
  • Assist in the transportation of patients and equipment as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the surgical team or management.


Requirements:

  • Completion of a Certified Surgical Technologist program and/or Licensed Surgical Technologist.
  • Current licensure as a Surgical Technologist in the state of Colorado.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by the American Heart Association.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.


Working Conditions:

This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations. The surgical technologist will be required to stand for long periods, lift heavy equipment, and work in a sterile environment.
