Quality Assurance Inspector

Job Description

The Quality Assurance Inspector is responsible for ensuring the quality of products through thorough assessment and analysis using inspection equipment, standards, and guidelines. This role is part of the 2nd shift team, working Monday-Thursday, 2:30pm-1:00am, with a 15% shift differential included. Overtime may occur as needed, with a pay rate of $24-$30/hour.

Responsibilities
  • Create documentation and records of inspection results
  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical data, and instruction manuals
  • Inspect parts using inspection equipment, such as calipers and micrometers
  • Create rework orders and assist in production, material handling, and machining
  • Research and purchase inspection equipment and supplies
  • Perform in-process inspections and quality control checks
  • Assist in resolving quality issues and implementing corrective actions
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2-4 years of experience in inspection or a manufacturing environment
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Basic math skills and ability to follow work instructions accurately
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both written and verbally
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow safety protocols
Working Conditions

The Quality Assurance Inspector will work in a climate-controlled office environment with bright lighting and organized workspaces. The role requires sitting or standing for extended periods, with occasional lifting up to 45 pounds and repetitive motions.
