Job Overview

The estimated salary for this role is $50,000 - $65,000 per year, based on the northern NJ area and industry standards.

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate dog trainer to join our team at Dog Training Elite Northern Central New Jersey. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional in-home training sessions to clients and their furry companions.

To succeed in this role, you must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, as well as the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Spanish speaking is a plus, but not required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct 1-on-1 training sessions and group sessions each week;
  • Explain product features and upsell when appropriate;
  • Drive to appointments in a timely manner;
  • Answer customers' questions about training techniques and equipment needed;
  • Perform administrative duties as needed, such as updating notes, rescheduling sessions, conducting group session sign-ups.

Requirements

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must already own a dog or have regular access to a physically capable K-9;
  • Must have the ability to self-start and work alone;
  • Lives in the northern NJ area and able to provide your own transportation to appointments.
