Job Title: Retail Maintenance Associate

At HomeGoods, we're always looking for talented individuals to join our team as Retail Maintenance Associates. As a key member of our store team, you'll play a vital role in maintaining a clean and organized store environment, ensuring our customers have an exceptional shopping experience.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, focusing on floor care and ensuring all areas meet operational and merchandise standards.
  • Operate and maintain floor care equipment, including scrubbers and buffers, to ensure a safe and clean shopping environment.
  • Perform dust mopping, damp mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, and spot cleaning glass and windows to maintain a high level of cleanliness.
  • Adhere to all operational, merchandise, and loss prevention standards to prevent shrinkage and maintain a secure store environment.
  • Cross-train in multiple areas of the store to support business needs and provide excellent customer service.
  • Support front-end coverage needs and respond to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Participate in store recovery and maintain a safe and organized work environment.
  • Communicate effectively with management and associates to ensure seamless store operations.
Requirements:
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule to support business needs and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks and operate floor care equipment.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to listen and respond effectively.
