Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring that every customer leaves the store feeling valued and satisfied.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the sales floor, stockroom, and restrooms.
  • Support the sales team in achieving sales goals, including processing transactions, handling customer returns, and maintaining accurate inventory levels.
  • Assist with receiving, processing, and replenishing merchandise, ensuring that the sales floor is always stocked and ready for customers.
  • Participate in visual merchandising and display standards, ensuring that the store looks its best at all times.
  • Perform other duties as directed by management, including opening and closing the store, processing payroll, and maintaining accurate records.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Retail experience preferred, but not necessary.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to stand or walk for up to eight hours a day, with frequent reaching, bending, and twisting.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds, occasionally lifting up to 40 pounds, and push/pull up to 20 pounds.
  • Ability to work in temperatures ranging from degrees, especially in stock room areas.
  • Ability to use a computer up to 60% of the time throughout the day.

Compensation:

$16.58/hour, based on education, work experience, certifications, federal, state, and local minimum wage requirements, etc.
