Role Overview:
A ServiceNow Platform Specialist is responsible for maintaining and optimizing the ServiceNow platform, including Incident, Problem, Change, Asset, and Configuration Management modules, ensuring reliability and high performance. This role will also lead design and development efforts for a team with a security, scalability, and performance mindset.

In this position, you will utilize knowledge of development and service delivery best practices to drive process automation and enhance service delivery across the organization. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, identify areas for improvement, and deliver solutions that align with business goals.

Responsibilities:
- Utilize knowledge of development and service delivery best practices to lead design and development efforts
- Maintain and optimize the ServiceNow platform, including Incident, Problem, Change, Asset, and Configuration Management modules, ensuring reliability and high performance
- Customize workflows, forms, and fields to meet business requirements
- Develop and refine scripts, UI policies, and business rules using JavaScript, Glide, and other scripting tools to enhance process automation and simplify tasks

Requirements:
- 5+ years of systems design, software development, operations, automation, and process improvement experience
- Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Python, Ruby, Golang, Java, C++, C#, Rust
- Experience with Linux/Unix
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines build processes
- Experience with maintaining and optimizing the ServiceNow platform
