Work Schedule:

  • Currently, we are fully staffed, but we welcome your application for future opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare dining tables with fresh linens, cutlery, and glassware.
  • Ensure tables are cleaned and sanitized.
  • Maintain cleanliness of tabletops and seating areas.
  • Take meal orders from residents with attention to detail.
  • Restock clean linens, cutlery, glassware, and dishes in the dining area.
  • Manage self-service stations with food items such as soups, salads, and desserts.
  • Assist in gathering necessary plates and bowls for self-service options.
  • Serve meals, beverages, and condiments to residents.
  • Support the setup of food and beverages for special events or gatherings.
  • Help with cleanup duties following special occasions.
  • Maintain cleanliness in the service area at the end of each shift.
  • Ensure the prep items in the cooler are kept clean and organized.
  • Prepare coffee and refill juice dispensers as needed.
  • Perform floor cleaning duties, including sweeping and mopping.
  • Transport food and dishes between different levels of the establishment.
  • Complete daily and weekly cleaning tasks as assigned.
  • Other responsibilities as directed.
Job Requirements:

Education:
  • A high school diploma or GED is preferred.
Experience:
  • No prior experience is necessary.
Qualifications:
  • Possession of a current Food Handler's Permit.
  • Certification in CPR and First Aid is required.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend the English language.
Physical Requirements:
  • Work hours: 8 hours per day.
  • Frequent standing for extended periods.
  • Occasional sitting and walking short distances.
  • Regular bending and lifting, up to 25 lbs.
  • Occasional climbing and kneeling.
Supervision:
  • This role does not include supervisory responsibilities.
Working Environment:
  • Potential exposure to hot, humid, and occasionally hazardous conditions.
  • May encounter slippery surfaces and strong odors.
  • Interaction with residents who may be emotionally distressed.
  • Evening, weekend, and holiday shifts may be required.
