Cafe Server

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Busser to join our team at Ponte Winery. As a Busser, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant, providing exceptional service to our guests, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the restaurant team by maintaining dining areas, delivering beverages, and assisting servers in a timely and efficient manner.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of guests and colleagues by adhering to all restaurant standards and protocols.
• Set tables, arrange table settings, and stock supplies to ensure a seamless dining experience.
• Deliver exceptional customer service by greeting guests warmly, responding to requests promptly, and communicating effectively with servers.
• Assist servers in delivering food items, refilling beverages, and pre-clearing dishes to maintain a high level of service quality.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the restaurant, including resetting tables, sweeping, and mopping floors.
• Collaborate with the host team to ensure seamless table management and efficient service.
• Provide a warm and inviting farewell to departing guests, inviting them to return and share their experience with others.
• Support fellow colleagues in a team environment, demonstrating a positive and proactive attitude.
• Complete closing side work to ensure the restaurant is prepared for the next business day.
• Perform any additional tasks as assigned by management to ensure the success of the restaurant.

Requirements:

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, maintaining a high level of energy and enthusiasm.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and guests.
• Ability to lift and carry a tray weighing up to 40 pounds, navigating a crowded patio with ease.
• Exceptional grooming standards, adhering to company guidelines.
• Ability to work varying schedules, including weekends and holidays, with a flexible and adaptable attitude.
• Ability to obtain a Riverside County food handler's card.
