Medication Technician

At Sunrise Senior Living, we are seeking a skilled Medication Technician to join our team. As a Medication Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest quality of care for our residents by administering medications and treatments in a safe and organized manner.
Responsibilities:
- Administer medications and treatments to residents in accordance with their individualized care plans.
- Review and update medication records to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Collaborate with the Resident Care Director and Wellness Nurse to ensure medication updates are received and implemented.
- Document all medication administration, including dosages, times, and any adverse reactions.
- Maintain confidentiality of resident information, including medication lists and medical histories.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- CPR and First Aid certification required.
- Previous experience working with seniors preferred.
- Ability to make choices and decisions in the best interest of residents.
- Ability to remain calm and composed in difficult situations.
