**Phlebotomy Technician**

Cleveland Clinic Akron General's Bath Health and Wellness Center is seeking a skilled Phlebotomy Technician to join their team. As a Phlebotomy Technician, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of the laboratory.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Collect and process biological specimens for testing
  • Assist with patient registration and coordinate appointment schedules
  • Collect demographic information from patients and verify test information
  • Prepare samples for testing and maintain accurate records
  • Float to other locations as needed

**Requirements:**

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • One year of experience with specimen collection and laboratory techniques
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or willingness to obtain within 90 days
  • Knowledge of basic office equipment and procedures
  • Proficiency in PC software applications

**Preferred Qualifications:**

  • Graduate of a Medical Assistant program or similar formal training
  • Experience with patient registration and insurance billing
