About the Job

We are seeking an Audio Visual Equipment Technician to join our team at Basesix. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in installing and maintaining audio visual equipment, including TVs, speakers, projectors, and more.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install and commission audio visual systems, ensuring they meet industry standards and customer requirements.
  • Perform thorough inspections to identify any issues or defects with installations.
  • Maintain accurate records of installation activities, including documentation of any problems encountered.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve project goals and deadlines.
  • Ensure a safe working environment by adhering to all relevant health and safety protocols.

Requirements:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required; a degree in a related field (e.g., electronics, communications) is preferred.
  • At least 2 years of experience in AV installation and maintenance, preferably in a commercial or residential setting.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to work independently.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel to job sites as needed.

Compensation and Benefits:

The estimated salary for this role is $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as a 401(k) plan.
