Medical Care Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Medical Care Specialist to join our team at All Medical Personnel. This is a great opportunity for LPNs/LVNs looking to gain experience in corrections facilities.
Job Summary:As a Medical Care Specialist, you will work under the supervision of a Physician or Registered Nurse to provide nursing care duties in the assessment of patients in the Health Care Unit and housing units. Your responsibilities will include taking vital signs, applying and changing dressings, administering medications and injections, implementing medical plans, documenting nursing encounters, and observing and reporting patient symptoms and reactions.
Requirements:To be successful in this role, you must have 1-2 years of recent experience as an LPN/LVN. Corrections experience is preferred. You must also hold a BLS certification and an active State nursing license.
