Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct high-quality nuclear medicine examinations on incoming patients, with potential cross-training for PET/CT procedures.
- Ensure accurate doses and radionuclides are prepared for daily operations.
- Verify that the administered radionuclide aligns with the prescribed procedure.
- Safely and effectively administer radionuclides and contrast agents as necessary.
- Monitor patient well-being throughout examinations, addressing any discomfort or medical concerns promptly.
- Provide compassionate guidance to patients, explaining procedures and addressing their questions and concerns.
- Collaborate with physicians to address inquiries and meet patient needs.
Qualifications:
- Associate's degree in a health-related field and completion of a certificate program or an Associate's degree in Nuclear Medicine.
- Current ARRT/N or CNMT certification.
- Valid NYS Radiologic license and current ARRT/R or ARRT/CT certification.
- Active NYS Nuclear Medicine license.
Compensation:
Pay Range: $56.40 per hour. Compensation is determined based on experience, skills, and educational background. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be compensated within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may vary based on location.
