Flexible Work Hours - Full or Part Time
The Mental Health Clinician will engage directly with individuals to perform thorough evaluations, develop Treatment Plans, and implement clinical interventions. This role includes providing guidance and oversight for direct care personnel and offering on-call support through a structured rotation.
The Director of the Adult Community Clinical Services (ACCS) Program is responsible for delivering both administrative and clinical leadership, supervision, and direction to the ACCS Integrated Team and Supervised Group Living Environments (GLEs).
The ACCS initiative is designed to enhance and refine behavioral health services for adults transitioning to or residing in the community. This program will supersede the Community Based Flexible Supports (CBFS) model and will focus on delivering evidence-based interventions within a standardized, clinically-oriented framework.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize recovery principles in collaboration with individuals and Integrated Team members to enhance health and wellness, achieve symptom stabilization, and foster self-management.
- Promote a culture of quality by implementing evidence-based practices within the services provided.
- Inspire staff and individuals served with a vision of achieving recovery goals.
- Encourage active participation and decision-making by individuals in their treatment planning and service delivery.
- Support initiatives aimed at improving physical and emotional well-being.
- Proactively address risk factors and manage crisis situations with appropriate clinical interventions.
- Facilitate comprehensive assessment processes.
- Oversee the creation, execution, review, and modification of treatment plans and service delivery.
- Coordinate treatment and services with all care coordination entities and health providers.
- Provide clinical supervision to direct care staff in collaboration with Site Managers.
- Ensure adherence to organizational policies, contracts, and funding requirements related to health and safety.
- Participate in on-call responsibilities as assigned.
- Maintain compliance with licensing and accreditation standards, as well as local, state, and federal regulations.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.
- Execute responsibilities in accordance with agency policies and procedures.
- Adhere to safety standards and utilize universal precautions in all relevant situations.
Qualifications:
- Must be a Licensed Practitioner of the Healing Arts (LPHA): Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Registered Nurse, Licensed Psychologist, Registered Occupational Therapist, or Licensed Rehabilitation Counselor.
- Proficient in medical and psychiatric monitoring, as well as consultation and coordination for individuals.
- Experience working with individuals diagnosed with serious and persistent mental illnesses.
- A valid driver's license in the state of residence and reliable transportation are required.
- Preference will be given to candidates with lived experience and fluency in languages commonly spoken in the region.
