Nurse Specialist

Sentara Healthcare is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Infusion Centers located at Sentara Norfolk General and Sentara Independence. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and leading a team of healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care and coordinate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery
- Supervise and mentor staff members to promote a culture of excellence and teamwork
- Participate in process improvements and contribute to the development of clinical policies and procedures
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective communication and coordination of care
- Assist in the fiscal budgeting and management process for the department
Requirements:
- BSN or MSN preferred
- Current RN licensure in Virginia or North Carolina
- ACLS, PALS, or ENPC certification within 1 year of hire
- Chemotherapy & Biotherapy Provider Card within 6 months of hire
- BLS certification within 90 days of hire
