Job Summary

The Quality Assurance Inspector is essential in ensuring that production processes adhere to quality standards and regulatory requirements. Responsibilities encompass welding inspections, oversight of certification records, and execution of quality audits.

Essential Functions
  • Conduct visual inspections of all welds to ensure compliance with code standards
  • Administer welding qualification assessments
  • Maintain welding certification documentation
  • Perform inspections upon receipt of materials
  • Ensure adherence to approved procedures and equipment usage

Work Environment

This role is situated within a fabrication facility, exposing the inspector to various working conditions. Physical requirements include standing, walking, and lifting items weighing up to 50 pounds. The position may necessitate occasional weekend shifts.

Qualifications
  • AWS Certified Weld Inspector certification
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in quality inspection
  • High School diploma or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications
  • ASQ Certified Quality Inspector certification
  • Experience in fabrication or construction
  • Associate's degree or higher
