  • Inspect and review commercial construction practices to ensure compliance with standards and specifications.
  • Coordinate work activity with other agencies, divisions, and departments.
  • Prepare construction contract documents for bidding, including cost estimates.
  • Perform professional engineering calculations.
  • Prepare correspondence and work status reports concerning construction projects.

Requirements:

  • Eight-year combination of education, training, and experience directly related to the field of civil engineering.
  • Must be a Registered Professional Engineer in the State of Florida or secure registration within one year of appointment.
  • Valid driver's license required.
