Position Overview

Applied Physics is in search of a skilled Electromechanical Engineer to contribute to our innovative projects. In this role, you will engage in a diverse range of initiatives, spanning from renewable energy solutions to advancements in aerospace technology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and create electromechanical systems from initial concept through to final production.
  • Perform feasibility assessments, simulations, and prototype development.
  • Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to integrate electromechanical systems into comprehensive products.
  • Develop testing protocols and analyze results to ensure the reliability and performance of products.
  • Identify and resolve issues that arise during the product development lifecycle.
  • Enhance and maintain existing electromechanical systems.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in the design and development of electromechanical systems.
  • Proficient in CAD tools such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar software.
  • Knowledge of electrical and mechanical components, including motors, sensors, controllers, and actuators.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Exceptional communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in PCB design and assembly.
  • Background in mechatronics or robotics.
  • Familiarity with international standards and regulations pertaining to electromechanical systems.
  • Experience in a startup or entrepreneurial setting.
