Job Summary

As a Pharmacy Technician at Walgreens, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and service. You will assist pharmacists in the practice of pharmacy, including filling prescriptions, verifying medication, and providing customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of medications
  • Verify patient information and medication orders
  • Provide customer service and answer patient questions
  • Maintain accurate records and reports
  • Assist with inventory management and ordering
  • Participate in ongoing training and education to stay up-to-date on pharmacy practices and procedures
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 6 months of experience in a retail environment preferred
  • PTCB certification preferred
  • Ability to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
