Job Title: Materials Planner

We are seeking a highly skilled Materials Planner to join our team at Kohler Co. in Casa Grande, AZ. As a Materials Planner, you will be responsible for scheduling finished goods, sub-assemblies, components, and select externally purchased materials to ensure timely delivery and quality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create production schedules to support customer service and manage production orders from start to finish.
  • Coordinate production changes with Materials, Purchasing, and Manufacturing personnel to ensure seamless execution.
  • Work closely with internal associates to coordinate and execute production, place and maintain orders for on-time delivery of materials.
  • Maintain and control SAP master data for Production Scheduling functions and develop and maintain stores for on-time delivery of materials under pull systems.
  • Build trust by working in partnership with manufacturing, suppliers, and buyers to reduce lead times and minimum order quantities.
  • Focus on the end customer by improving business and supply chain processes to drive continuous improvements.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Management, or related field; equivalent experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
  • 1-3 years working in a materials planning and scheduling in a manufacturing or purchasing environment.
  • Previous SAP experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience in inventory management, ERP/MRP, and KanBan systems preferred.
  • Demonstrated continuous improvement, mathematical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in use of all common computer Microsoft Office software applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
