Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to join our team at Cooley Dickinson Health Care, an affiliate of Mass General Brigham. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure efficient patient flow through the office
  • Assist during office visits, including rooming, examinations, point of care testing, immunizations, procedures, and treatments as directed
  • Perform clinically appropriate tasks related to patient panel management, including phone calls, test results, prescription refill, and coordination of care
  • Maintain neat, clean, and safe patient care areas
  • Interact with patients and their families in a professional, friendly manner consistent with their needs
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • CMA, AAMA, RMA, CNMA, or CCMA Medical Assistant certification required
  • Current Basic Life Support certification (BLS) from a program approved by the American Heart Association required
  • Completion of a formal medical assistant training program preferred
  • One (1) year technical/vocational training school program or one (1) to three (3) years experience as a medical assistant preferred
