Job Overview

1 Resource Group is in search of a proficient and seasoned Field Service Mechanic to enhance our team. The ideal candidate will be tasked with diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of heavy machinery and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and resolve mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical problems in heavy machinery.
  • Execute repairs and maintenance on different types of heavy equipment.
  • Perform regular inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure machinery operates at peak efficiency.
  • Maintain precise records of all repairs, maintenance activities, and parts utilized.
  • Collaborate with equipment operators to pinpoint and resolve any operational issues.
  • Follow safety regulations and uphold a tidy and organized workspace.
  • Travel to various job sites for equipment servicing and repairs as required.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role as a Field Service Mechanic.
  • Extensive mechanical and technical expertise in heavy equipment.
  • Familiarity with hydraulic, electrical, and diesel engine systems.
  • Ability to comprehend and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting capabilities.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license with a clean driving history.
  • DOT certification is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills are essential.
