About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Process Engineer with experience in optimizing warehouse operations to join our project management team. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving process improvement projects, managing infrastructure initiatives, and developing/enforcing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement lean warehouse processes using DMAIC and DMADV tools to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Communicate process improvements through SOPs, meetings, and Learning Management Systems (LMS) to ensure seamless implementation.
  • Monitor and review the effectiveness of implemented processes to identify areas for further optimization.
  • Measure, plan, and manage warehouse infrastructure projects, collaborating with vendors on tasks like racking optimization.
  • Promote continuous improvement by analyzing data on product scanning accuracy and inventory integrity to drive business outcomes.
  • Use lean tools and data analysis to provide actionable insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Analyze process data to establish performance standards and make informed decisions.
  • Conduct process mapping to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for growth.
  • Perform root cause analysis to address systemic issues and develop corrective actions.
  • Establish labor standards using techniques like MOST and MTM to optimize workforce utilization.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, or Supply Chain Management.
  • At least 3 years of experience in industrial engineering, manufacturing, and warehouse/logistics, particularly in food products and consumer packaged goods.
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English is preferred.
  • Experience in designing warehouse or manufacturing processes, focusing on labor productivity or scheduling optimization.
  • Lean Six Sigma training is required, with Green Belt certification preferred.
  • AutoCAD experience is a plus.
Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary range for this position is $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience. Additional benefits include health insurance, retirement plans, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
