We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) to join our team at St. David's South Austin Medical Center. As a CRT, you will play a critical role in providing respiratory care to patients, conducting diagnostic procedures, and administering treatments.
Key Responsibilities- Administer respiratory care treatments, including oxygen therapy, aerosol therapy, and mechanical ventilation.
- Conduct diagnostic tests, such as pulmonary function tests and arterial blood gas analysis.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and adjust treatments as needed.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Perform routine maintenance and calibration of respiratory care equipment.
- Graduate of an approved Respiratory Certification Program.
- Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) credential by the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC).
- Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license by the State of Texas.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
