Certified Respiratory Therapist PRN Opportunity

About the Role
We are seeking a Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) to join our team at Heart Hospital of Austin as a PRN opportunity. As a CRT, you will play a vital role in administering respiratory care to patients, conducting diagnostic procedures, and monitoring therapy.
Responsibilities
- Administer and monitor respiratory care treatments
- Conduct diagnostic procedures to evaluate the need for and response to therapy
- Record pertinent information in patient's medical record
- Perform noninvasive and invasive diagnostic tests and monitoring
- Perform cleaning, preventative maintenance, and calibration of respiratory care equipment as required
- Function as respiratory care protocol assessor
Requirements
- Graduate of approved Respiratory Certification Program
- Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) credential by the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC)
- Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license by the State of Texas
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification as per St. David's HealthCare policy
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification as per St. David's HealthCare policy - required within 90 days of hire
