We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at East Cobb Health Park. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing high-quality MRI scans and providing exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities- Operate MRI equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
- Position patients for exams, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the process.
- Assist with patient preparation, including explaining procedures and answering questions.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate records and reports, including patient information and exam results.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques, participating in ongoing education and training.
- Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time efficiently.
- Provide excellent customer service, ensuring patient satisfaction and comfort throughout the exam process.
- Successful completion of an accredited MRI program or ARRT-R certification.
- Minimum 1 year experience in a clinical setting, preferably in MRI.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, staff, and physicians.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, prioritizing tasks and managing time efficiently.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
