MRI Technologist

We are seeking a highly skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at Wellstar Health System, Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a wide range of diagnostic imaging procedures using magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) technology.
Key Responsibilities- Operate MRI equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images
- Position patients for procedures and ensure their safety and comfort
- Assist with patient care and provide support to radiologists and other healthcare professionals
- Maintain accurate records and reports of imaging procedures
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless patient care
- Successful completion of an accredited MRI program or ARRT-R certification
- Minimum 1 year experience in a clinical setting, preferably in MRI
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Experience with MRI equipment and software
- Knowledge of anatomy and pathology as it relates to MRI procedures
