Role Responsibilities and QualificationsThe Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) is responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality, patient-focused care while coordinating all activities within the unit during assigned shifts. In collaboration with the management team, the CNC oversees nursing care in alignment with established policies and procedures, serves as a resource for staff, and exemplifies the organization's core values to ensure exceptional patient experiences and clinical outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitates admission and discharge processes to optimize patient flow and care quality.
- Engages in continuous assessment of care quality in collaboration with management.
- Works with experts and managers to foster a teamwork-oriented environment that enhances outcomes.
- Promotes a patient-centered approach and engages in service recovery as needed.
- Contributes to improving staff engagement through nursing strategies and initiatives.
- Provides input on recruitment, training, and performance evaluations of staff.
- Assists in staff scheduling and manages labor in accordance with patient care needs.
- Oversees inventory control and assists in managing supplies and equipment.
Qualifications Required:
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment.
- PALS Pediatric Advanced Life Support certification within 90 days of employment.
- Current Registered Nurse license.
- Diploma, Associate Degree, or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
