Model Based Systems Engineer II

Overview:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Utilizes advanced methodologies to investigate and resolve complex military system design challenges.
  • Plans, executes, and oversees projects, coordinating the efforts of engineers and technical personnel.
  • Reviews project completion, including system enhancements.
  • Recommends modifications in technical applications.
  • Assesses system capabilities.
  • Offers technical consultation to clients.
  • Collaborates closely with the Configuration Control Board to define and implement procedures for product releases throughout their lifecycle.
  • Provides guidance on change management and product configuration management.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in applied science, computing, engineering, mathematics, physics, management information systems, or a related field, with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
  • At least 3 years of experience in managing, analyzing, and interpreting architecture data, as well as developing Systems of Systems enterprise architecture.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in architecture design and development to enhance functionality.
  • At least 3 years of experience in reviewing and modifying C4ISR architectures, including operational and system aspects.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in developing Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) products.
Security Requirements:
  • Must possess an Active DoD Secret Clearance and maintain eligibility for Top-Secret/SCI clearance.
Travel Requirements:
  • Occasional travel, less than 10%.
  • If travel involves domestic flights or access to secure federal facilities, candidates must obtain and maintain appropriate identification credentials.
Physical Requirements:
  • Physical demands include remaining stationary for extended periods, using hands for manipulation, and lifting objects up to 50 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
