Job SummaryWe are looking for a highly experienced and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team as an Operating Room Lead. As a key member of our surgical team, you will be responsible for circulating in the operating room and assisting physicians with advanced tasks or equipment during surgical procedures.
Responsibilities- Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document nursing care of patients in accordance with organizational policies and standards of professional nursing practice.
- Utilize specialized knowledge, judgment, and nursing skills necessary to assess data and plan, provide, and evaluate care appropriate to the physical and developmental age of assigned patients.
- Formulate and initiate a plan of care based on patient-specific needs and medical plan of care.
- Provide care based on physician orders and in compliance with policies and procedures, standards of care, and regulatory agency requirements.
- Delegate appropriately and provide nursing supervision in the provision of care to patients by other licensed nurses and other personnel.
- Participate in stocking, replenishing supplies, and cleaning operating rooms.
- Participate in or lead the training and orientation of surgical staff and students, as assigned.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Associates Degree in Nursing or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
- One year of operating room experience in the acute care setting.
- One year in a Level 1 trauma OR setting.
