Silver Tree Residential is seeking a reliable and quality-focused Facilities Technician to join our team at East Boro's Apartments. The Facilities Technician is responsible for performing tasks assigned by the Community Director and/or Facilities Director, with a focus on continuous self-improvement of skills and expertise. We are looking for a team member who can uphold our community to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with Directors to manage maintenance-related and capital improvement activities within an assigned property.
  • Inspect, schedule, and perform routine preventive maintenance on equipment as necessary or directed by the Directors.
  • Develop effective relationships with supervisors, residents, vendors, and co-workers.
  • Satisfy work orders promptly and efficiently.
  • Have a working knowledge of HVAC systems and various appliances, stoves, dishwashers, disposals, and refrigerators, with some familiarity with electricity, plumbing, and carpentry.
  • Assist in the make-ready process of vacant apartments to prepare them for new move-ins in a timely and detail-oriented manner.
  • Prior property maintenance experience is preferred.
  • Must have their own tools.
  • A valid Driver's License and dependable transportation are strongly preferred.
Qualified candidates will have a minimum of 3 years of property maintenance experience. It is essential that the Facilities Technician report to work at their regularly scheduled work hours and have the physical capability to perform various physical tasks regularly and as needed.
