Key Responsibilities
  • Provide professional nursing care to patients in the PACU, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being.
  • Assess patients' needs and develop individualized care plans to meet their unique requirements.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care transitions and effective communication.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and respond promptly to any changes or concerns.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring accurate dosages and timing.
  • Document patient information, including medical history, treatment plans, and progress notes, in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures to enhance patient care.
Requirements
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree or enrollment in a BSN or advanced degree program with a completion deadline of 4 years from hire date.
  • One year of hospital nursing experience, preferably in a critical care setting.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers.
