Job Description

We're seeking an experienced Third-Party Risk Management Specialist to lead the charge in optimizing our Third-Party Risk Management program. As a pivotal member of our team, you'll set policy and governance, provide risk advisory, and oversee third-party risk and control assessments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a risk-based framework for TPRM, prioritizing critical vendors that pose the greatest threat to our business objectives.
  • Provide thought leadership to continuously improve and streamline the framework, aligning with risk vs. reward principles and applicable laws and regulations.
  • Develop clear and concise reports highlighting key risk metrics and insights for business leadership.
  • Proactively identify and escalate risks associated with vendor concentration and dependencies, as well as risks from fourth-party relationships.
  • Manage and develop correspondence with vendors regarding RFPs, RFQs, pricing and contract negotiations, and contract/service management.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in IT, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Generally, 5 or more years of related experience within Insurance, Banking, or Asset management.
  • A strong understanding of the TPRM life cycle, including vendor onboarding, due diligence, ongoing monitoring, and offboarding.
  • An in-depth understanding of third-party vendor risks, including cyber, operational, and financial risks.
