Pharmacy Technician

Job Summary:

As a Pharmacy Technician at Walgreens, you will play a vital role in assisting pharmacists in the practice of pharmacy, ensuring the highest level of patient care and satisfaction. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist pharmacists in the performance of pharmacy duties, including the preparation and dispensing of medications, and the maintenance of patient records.
  
• Use pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information, and process prescriptions accurately and efficiently.
  
• Provide excellent customer service, engaging with customers and patients to ensure a positive experience.
  
• Develop strong relationships with healthcare providers and other stakeholders to enhance growth opportunities.
  
• Participate in inventory management activities, including ordering, unpacking, and storing pharmaceuticals.
  
• Comply with all company policies and procedures, maintaining a respectful and professional work environment.
  

Requirements:

• 
  
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
  
• Requires willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
  
• Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
  
• Prefer prior work experience with Walgreens.
  
• Prefer good math skills and computer skills.
  
• Prefer knowledge of store inventory control and PTCB or ExCPT certification.
