Pharmacy Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Walgreens. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in assisting our pharmacists in the practice of pharmacy, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and care.

• Assist pharmacists in the performance of pharmacy duties, including filling prescriptions, verifying medication, and checking for potential interactions.
• Use pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information, and process prescriptions accurately and efficiently.
• Provide exceptional customer service, engaging with customers and patients to ensure a positive experience.
• Develop strong relationships with our most valuable customers, understanding their needs and preferences.
• Assist with inventory management, including ordering, unpacking, and storing shipments of pharmaceuticals.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Pharmacy Manager, including handling cash, processing manual claims, and maintaining accurate records.

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.
• Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
• Prefer good math skills and computer skills.
• Prefer PTCB or ExCPT certification.
