K.A. Recruiting is seeking a skilled Histotechnician or Histotechnologist to join our team at a top suburban Chicago clinical laboratory. The ideal candidate will have an Associate degree in a lab science and graduate of an accredited Histology Technician program. Responsibilities include preparing gross specimens, embedding tissues, processing tissue specimens, cutting tissues, and performing various stains to provide data on tissue and organ function, disease causes, and progression. The successful candidate will also assist the Pathologist with grossing of specimens, preparation of microscopic slides, and development of new techniques. If you have the necessary education and experience, we encourage you to apply. Key Requirements: Associate degree in a lab science and graduate of an accredited Histology Technician program. Meets the alternative education and experience guidelines set forth by the ASCP to become registry eligible for the HT category.
