KA Recruiting Inc. is seeking highly skilled Histotechnicians and Histotechnologists to join our team at a top suburban Chicago clinical laboratory.

  • Location: Suburbs of Chicago
  • Shift: Full-time, midnight shift
  • Benefits: Sign-on bonus
  • Responsibilities:

Tissue Preparation and Processing:

  • Prepare gross specimens for examination
  • Embed tissues for sectioning
  • Process tissue specimens for histological examination
  • Cut tissues for microscopic examination
  • Perform various stains, including immunoperoxidase, to provide data on tissue and organ function, disease causes, and progression

Support to Pathologists:

  • Assist pathologists with grossing of specimens
  • Prepare microscopic slides for examination
  • Contribute to the development of new techniques and teaching

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • ASCP certification or equivalent required
  • Experience in histotechnology laboratory setting preferred
