Construction Project Coordinator

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE - RETAIL CONSTRUCTION OR MULTI-UNIT RETAIL DEVELOPMENT EXPERIENCE (e.g., establishments like Walgreens, CVS, Starbucks, Dunkin Donuts, Calvin Klein, Tommy Hilfiger, Old Navy, McDonald's, Burger King, or Subway)

The Construction Project Coordinator will oversee various projects, programs, or tasks as assigned. Responsibilities will vary in complexity and volume. This role will report directly to the Construction Project Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and communicate the project roadmap: Timelines, material delivery schedules, etc.
  • Interpret field conditions and relay project requirements to the team.
  • Schedule workforce and crews effectively.
  • Initiate new projects, coordinate with contractors, manage permit requirements, and liaise with site contacts.
  • Maintain communication with general contractors to gather project-specific information.
  • Oversee project closeouts, including documentation and permit finalization.
  • Review contractor invoices to ensure accuracy and confirm production.
  • Collaborate with the billing team to ensure timely settlement of aged accounts.
  • Provide daily and weekly production updates.
  • Support the management team as needed.
  • Assist the Construction Project Manager in project development as required.
  • Maintain project-specific documentation and adhere to project contract stipulations.
  • Analyze and communicate insights regarding project cost trends.
  • Possess a foundational understanding of Retail/Construction industry standards and practices.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.

Job Type: Full-time
