We are seeking a skilled Service Advisor to join our team. Previous experience in automotive customer service or a related field is preferred, but we are willing to train the right individual. This role requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a customer-focused mindset. Our service department has a loyal following, and you will have the opportunity to build relationships with our valued customers.

As a Service Advisor, you will be responsible for:

  • Making appointments and processing repair orders, quotes, and invoices
  • Providing exceptional customer support via phone and in-person
  • Qualifying customer problems and logging them for technicians to review
  • Ensuring customer approval for all remedial work
  • Promoting our range of vehicle parts and accessories
  • Internal coordination of service work to meet customer commitments
  • Estimating costs and time for work to be carried out, and maintaining customer contact

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience as a service advisor or service writer is required
  • Excellent phone and communication skills are essential
  • A positive, upbeat attitude and ability to upsell clients on Toyota products and services are necessary
  • Excellent follow-up and follow-through skills to ensure client satisfaction are required
  • Ability to communicate technical information in non-technical terms to clients is essential
  • Ability to adapt to changing business needs is necessary
  • Willingness to submit to a pre-employment background check and drug screen is required
  • High School diploma or equivalent, as well as a good driving record with a valid driver's license, is necessary
