Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Culinary Artist to join our team at IHOP. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a wide variety of meals to meet the high standards of our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation: Prepare and cook food to IHOP specifications, ensuring that all dishes meet our high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Equipment Operation: Operate large-volume cooking equipment such as flat tops, deep fryers, stoves, and dishwashers to prepare food for our customers.
  • Sanitation and Safety: Maintain a clean and sanitary work area, adhering to all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
  • Teamwork: Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to ensure that all orders are fulfilled efficiently and to a high standard.
Requirements
  • Physical Demands: Stand for up to 8 hours during a shift, lift at least 50 pounds, and have full mobility of hands and arms while performing repetitive tasks.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to read and prepare food recipes, read food tickets or receive verbal instruction, and communicate effectively with other kitchen staff.
  • Work Ethic: Demonstrate a strong work ethic, be self-motivated, reliable, and have a positive attitude towards work.
