Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity to work as an Occupational Therapist at the California Department of Veterans Affairs (CalVet), where we proudly serve California's 1.6 million veterans.

This position is located in the Rehabilitation department at the Veterans Home of California-Redding.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide occupational therapy services to veterans and their families.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to promote independence and well-being.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify areas of need.
  • Develop and implement adaptive equipment and assistive technology solutions.

Requirements:

  • Occupational Therapist License.
  • Successful completion of a live scan and a pre-employment physical (including drug testing for certain civil service classifications).
  • Education: If you are meeting minimum qualifications with education, you must include a copy of your diploma/degree and/or unofficial/informal transcripts for verification.
