Mass General Brigham is seeking a skilled Electrophysiology Technician to join our team in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Electrophysiology Technician to work in our department. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to electrophysiology, including preparing patients for procedures, operating equipment, and assisting with data analysis.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients for electrophysiology procedures, including explaining the procedure and obtaining informed consent.
- Operate electrophysiology equipment, including electrocardiograms and cardiac catheters.
- Assist with data analysis and interpretation of results.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest electrophysiology techniques and technologies.
Requirements:
- Graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited school of Cardiovascular Technology or related field.
- Completion of BLS and ACLS certification within 3 months of employment preferred; within 6 months required.
- Minimum three years of interventional experience preferred.
- Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCES) preferred.
- No documented corrective action over the last year of employment.
